Expect a reply within a few days. Corrections are usually acted on faster than they are replied to — if you report a genuine error, the page is often fixed before you hear back.

Reporting An Error

Technical corrections are the most useful thing you can send. To make one easy to act on, please include:

  • The page URL, and the section heading if the page is long
  • What the page currently says
  • What it should say, and briefly why

A counterexample or a short snippet demonstrating the problem is ideal but not required. Every correction is verified before being applied — code is re-run, examples re-traced — so please do not be discouraged if a fix takes a little time to appear.

Other Enquiries

  • Topic requests. Suggestions for algorithms or data structures not yet covered are welcome. Tell us what you were trying to learn and where the existing material fell short.
  • Questions about the material. If an explanation is unclear, that is useful feedback in itself — a confusing explanation is a defect.
  • Use in teaching. If you would like to use material from this site in a course or classroom, get in touch and say what you have in mind.
  • Privacy and data requests. For questions about how your data is handled, or to make a request under GDPR or CCPA, see the Privacy Policy and email the address above.

What We Cannot Help With

To set expectations honestly: we cannot complete homework, take-home assignments or interview exercises on your behalf, and we cannot debug code from your own projects. Questions about the material on this site are always welcome.
